In some activities, like a categorisation exercise, a same item can appear multiple times within an activity. For any item or option that appear more than one time within an activity we ask you to add a unique tag name after the item when it first appear in the activity, and use the tag name rather than a copy of the item on all of its following occurrences (Note: by unique tag name we mean unique within the scope of the activity).
Nametags are introduced with a [n] tag.
The following example provides a typical example of use.
For instance in this categorisation activity , Categories will be defined as follows:
[i] Count nouns [n] c
[i] Uncount nouns [n] u
And the items to classify like this:
[i] milk [a] [n] u
[i] bread [a] [n] u
[i] slice [a] [n] c
It is really important to have the discipline to use tag names rather than cut and paste as it too often happens that when cut and paste has been used, changes get made in one place but not another.
